The Tampa biotechnology firm — which has pioneered cancer treatments for animals — wants to use proceeds of the offering to pay for clinical trials for cancer treatments for humans. “We started with animals because we thought it would be a good model for humans,” said Patricia Lawman, CEO of Morphogenesis.
