We are driven by our commitment to the patients who will be treated with the clinical therapies we develop and the researchers who will use our research products to produce additional therapies. One of the most important historical decisions made by the Morphogenesis Board of Directors was to adopt the resolution to become an indigent care provider because no one should go without life-saving treatment, nor should they suffer needless because they cannot afford a product developed by Morphogenesis. This resolution is embraced by all of our employees and promotes a corporate culture in which each individual can make important contributions.


We understand and appreciate that sometimes our best friend might have more than two legs. The human-pet bond is very powerful, and the line of distinction between pet and family member can be quite indistinct. That is one of the reasons we have jumped into veterinary oncology with all four legs. It has been estimated that 1 in 2 dogs will develop cancer and 1 in 4 will die from it. Cats are not immune to these devastating diseases either. Our pets are exposed to the same environments and carcinogens that we are, so it is of no surprise that as the incidence of cancer in people is steadily increasing, so is the incidence of cancer in companion animals.
